The University of Aleppo needs
your help.
The University of Aleppo, founded in 1958, is one of Syria's leading institutions of higher education, known for its diverse academic programs and contributions to research and development. Today, it faces significant challenges after 14 years of war and enduring several bombings.
The university holds a special place in SARD’s heart — many of us studied there. The students studying there today represent the future of Syria — the engineers, leaders, and innovators who will help rebuild the country.
We've committed SARD general funds to address structural issues and install new doors and windows in Dormitory Unit 15 and the Department of Electrical Engineering. But the students and faculty need more help.
We can't do it alone — will you help spread the word and join us in this effort?

Dormitory Unit 15
Despite the terrible condition of dormitory Unit 15 and the shelling attack in November 2024 that killed 4 people, it currently houses 1,000 students. The conditions are deplorable, leaving students to live in an unsafe, unhealthy, and discouraging place while they study and invest in building a better future. Would you help us make sure students have dorms that they can sleep and live in, safely and comfortably?
